British Pet Insurance has teamed up with the trundl app to support charity, ‘Dogs for Autism’.

The brainchild of Director, Hil Mines; trundl is an app that encourages its subscribers to get out and walk, whilst raising money for charity.

The app is a unique membership initiative that is powered via an app motivating people to get active differently by setting a community goal. It doesn’t matter how far or how fast you go; subscribers know that just by getting out and about, they are helping their selected charities.

The money raised comes from businesses that are aligned with the trundl app, in this instance, British Pet Insurance is supporting Dogs for Autism, a fantastic charity that trains and provides assistance dogs, with no charge, to autistic individuals of all ages.

Dogs for Autism aim to have a positive impact on autistic individuals and their families, empowering the individual to reach their potential and emotional and physical wellbeing

Celebrity wildlife presenter, Chris Packham has recently joined the team at Dogs for Autism as a Patron, he brings his excellent reputation as an advocate for animal welfare and his own experience of being diagnosed with autism in his forties.

British Pet Insurance supported their first trundl for Dogs for Autism in June 2022, subscribers walked a fantastic 735km in just nine days, raising £150 for the charity.

In August 2022, British Pet Insurance will again support Dogs for Autism with a new trundl and hope to raise over £200 for them with the help of the trundle walkers.
